Validate requirements received via 10-liner from globally deployed forces, operational needs statements (ONS) from HQDA G3/5/7, or Director-initiated opportunities.


Assess materiel solutions according to the full range of capabilities required by the Warfighter.


Equip operational forces with improvements to the capability, Soldier safety, and risk mitigation.


Insert GOTS / COTS solutions (future force technologies, threshold capabilities and/or surrogates) directly to globally deployed Soldiers to assist in development and validate concepts in an operational environment.


Inform REF identified materiel solutions against requirements to refine and modify solutions for the future force.
